Cruise Ship Webcams Live Ship Cameras

cruise liner webcams

But if you want a taste of cruising, several cruise lines offer live webcam feeds online for the public to view. The Royal cams were discontinued, for example, but there are many cruise ship webcams to watch. The Norwegian Getaway webcam offers dreamy views from the bridge, as do many others included in the list below. Take a look at our roundup of cruise ship webcams and port cam availability below. But not all cruise lines provide live webcams for the public. Below is a list of cruise ships with live feeds you can view at home.

Webcams for Disney Cruise Line

During the industry-wide stoppage, a lot of cruise operators stopped offering live streaming feeds from their ships. Many of the cruise lines listed below did not restore their live cameras when cruising resumed. Many cruise lines stopped providing live streaming feeds from their ships during the industry-wide shutdown. Once cruising returned, many of the cruise lines below didn’t bring back their live webcams.

Port Canaveral Cruise Port Webcam

The live webcams can be viewed from the in-stateroom TVs. It’s a fun way to see where the ship is when you wake up in the morning. Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades webcam is another way to keep tabs on the constant influx of ships in Florida.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Webcams

The camera moves around so you can even get a close-up view of passengers on the deck. Not all cruise ships have cameras that are available for the public to view online. In fact, many cruise lines have stopped their webcam services too, which is a real shame. This rotating webcam in Key West, set atop the Shipwreck Museum's tower, offers sweeping real-time views of the Key West Harbor. Press play on the port cam and skip the commercial to stay updated on cruise ship arrivals and departures.

Unlike most other cruise lines, Disney Cruise Line has never had a public webcam feed from Disney cruise ships. You can, however, see DCL cruise ships on various port webcams such as Port of Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston. Unfortunately, this means that fans of the popular cruise line won’t be able to watch their favorite ships live online. P&O Cruises used to provide public webcam streaming until the industry-wide shutdown in 2020.

Now, she helps over 1 million people per month to plan their perfect cruise holidays. It’s important to note that not all information provided in the post may be accurate or up-to-date, and the author is not responsible for any errors or omissions. So don’t worry, there are plenty of ways to stay connected to your favorite cruise line, even if they don’t have live web cameras available. Don’t forget to check back periodically throughout the day to see what’s happening on board. It’s a great way to stay connected and feel like you’re part of the action, even if you’re relaxing in your cabin. This blog helps over a million people to plan their cruises each month.

The cruise ships whose live feeds you can watch from home are listed below. In addition to watching live webcams, live ship tracking is a useful tool for keeping track of your favorite ships. Not only can you see where the ship is on a map, but you can also view its speed, destination, and even the weather conditions it’s currently experiencing. It’s like having a window into the world of cruising, without actually being there. Plus, it’s a great way to pass the time while waiting for your next cruise adventure. Another helpful tool for keeping tabs on cruise ships is a live cruise ship tracker, which allows you to see where each ship is on a map of the world.

Grand Cayman Cruise Port Webcam

Keep reading to find a list of cruise ships with live webcam feeds. Watching the live webcams on cruise ships can be a fun way to see where a cruise ship is. Many cruise ships have a camera on the bow and some also have one on the stern, giving a live feed of what the ship’s captain can see.

Check out dock views on this port cam by pressing the play button. It looks like you may be utilizing ad blocking software or another ad filtering technology while visiting Cruising Earth. Certain areas of this site may not work properly because of this, particularly live updates of ship trackers and webcams.

If P&O webcams come back online, you will be able to view them here. P&O Cruises used to offer webcams, but then “temporarily” removed them during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I’m starting to think that when they said it was temporary, they meant permanent. Pioneers of cruising, Norwegian Cruise Line invite you to step aboard one of their prestigious vessels for an innovative, freestyle cruising experience. Voyages to destinations all over the globe, and to some of the most sought after ports in the world.

If you are going on a cruise, then chances are high that it will make a stop in Cozumel. It’s often that you’ll find multiple ships in port on any given day, making it a prime place to watch while you’re sitting at home. This webcam looks right at the ships docked at the main pier.

A live webcam on the bow of almost every cruise ship provides views of the surrounding ocean, the ship’s route, or the nearby port of call when the ship is docked. Cunard Line used to offer live webcams showcasing the view from the bow of the vessel. At the time of writing, the webcams were taken offline. However, you can check the links below to see if the cruise ship webcams if they resume service. Costa Cruises provides live webcam feeds that can be viewed on their website. They offer live feeds of the bow and aft from every ship in their fleet.

Royal Caribbean stopped offering live web camera feeds to the public in early 2020, coinciding with the global shutdown. All webcam pages have been redirected to Royal Caribbean’s homepage. It’s not known whether Royal Caribbean will have live cameras in the future.

Additionally, Royal Caribbean has an official YouTube channel where they post videos of their ships and destinations. Why not check out our real time ship tracker and see whereabouts in the world a cruise ship is sailing. Tampa may not get the publicity of larger ports in Florida, but the western Florida port sees a lot of traffic. Several cruise lines including Carnival and Norwegian sail from the port, located right near downtown. This webcam will give you view of the ships in port and the surrounding area. This rotating live view from the port cam at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda shows the naval yard, as well as the cruise ship dock.

Lastly, I welcome comments and suggestions from my readers, as I’m always looking to improve and provide the best possible content. Follow your friends and family on their cruise holiday or see where a ship is located around the world. It’s also a nice glimpse at Ketchikan’s waterfront, though the Salmon Walk is just out of view. Carnival Liberty Cruise Ship Review First-hand Expert Review

carnival cruise liberty ship

The 2005-built Carnival Liberty cruise ship is the 4th of all 5 Conquest-class vessels - with sisterships Conquest, Freedom, Glory, Valor. This series preceded the new Dream-class trio of newbuilds. When families cruise Carnival, even the smallest fish in the pond have a big, awesome time. Okay, so it’s actually way more than just a pond — it’s Camp Ocean. At Camp Ocean, 2–11 year-olds stay busy, keep active and have fun as they enjoy all new ocean-themed activities and entertainment made for kids. Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should.

Norwegian Cruise Line Explains After Switching Port

Note that this is for dinner only, parents will need to pick up their kids for lunch and other meals except on Port Days when Camp Ocean participants will be provided lunch (if their parents are ashore). Outside, on Decks 12 and 14 midship, there is a jogging track, basketball and volleyball court, table tennis set and giant chess set. Nine laps around the wide, padded (for long-distance runs) jogging track make a mile.

Shipboard entertainment options - Fun and Sport

There's also a gaming area as well as a dance-club type area. But it's not all lounging around and hanging out idly, there are organized games on the sports deck (basketball free throw competitions, volleyball, table tennis), dance parties, pool parties, karaoke and even theme parties. Theme parties happen in the evening (times vary) but include things like glow-in-the-dark parties and wacky outfit get-togethers. Teens taking part in Circle "C" must be registered, but they don't need to sign in or out as Carnival aims to provide them with a space where structured activities are balanced with teen independence. Activities go on every day of the sailing, and times vary; check the Fun Times newsletter and the Circle "C" activity schedule for specifics on your sailing.

Porthole

The last time I cruised Liberty was in March 2017 when Tim McGraw performed onboard for a Carnival LIVE show, so it was nice to be back on board. It was sort of like going back in time, given that the ship looked pretty much the same, with the exception of everyone wearing masks and the signs encouraging guests to follow the current protocols. Stepping onboard Carnival Liberty was like coming home for me. The first time I sailed the ship was back in December of 2011, after it received its Fun Ship 2.0 makeover.

There are six launderettes and ironing rooms available onboard. All laundry machines are coin-operated, and washing powder and other laundry supplies are available for purchase in the launderettes. Singles meet-ups at Alchemy, LGBT gatherings, Serenity Nights (a grown-up meet and greet in Serenity), Veterans group meetings, and late-night DJ parties are also on the schedule each sailing. Since we were usually anxious to get ashore and go exploring, we ate breakfast in the buffet-style Emile's Bistro. Although most of the other passengers also ate in Emile's for breakfast, the buffet lines were manageable; we never had to wait too long. Night Exotic Western Caribbean CruiseDetails

The balcony staterooms are much like the ocean view staterooms, just with the added furnished balcony and a larger window overlooking the balcony. BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza. The menu offers up Mexican favorites, including several brands of tequila and a slew of Mexican brews. There’s a lineup of frozen concoctions, cocktails and margaritas served by the glass or by the pitcher, and even a special Mexican beer cocktail (yes, really). So stay cool and take in the bar’s vacation vibe while you kick back on your cruise – that’s what official bar mascot Blue the Iguana would tell you. This is the best room you can get… without bunking up with the guy himself.

Find a Carnival Liberty Cruise from $469

Just note you won’t get any grand view with a porthole or picture window; expect to look at the interior of the ship or something similarly uninteresting. In interior staterooms, the decor is mostly Carnival orange, and interior staterooms feature just enough room for two travelers to comfortably cruise. Originally launched in 2005, Carnival Liberty is approaching its 20th birthday, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that this Conquest-class cruise ship is lackluster due to its age. Over its life, the ship has celebrated many “firsts” and groundbreaking cruise industry accomplishments, and it still remains a favorite with cruising families today. Often cruise lines offer special rates that cannot be displayed to the general public. By registering with Cruise.com you will be able to view these special rates and offers.

Carnival Liberty was the very first ship in the Carnival fleet to receive the brand’s FUN 2.0 upgrades, in 2011. The FUN 2.0 series of upgrades would go on to bring new life (and quick fan-favorite venues and amenities) to the entire line. Register with Cruise.com to get access to exclusive rates, discounts and special offers.

Not to even mention some of the best stern-side views you'll find anywhere. Get ready to relax as you gaze upon Carnival Liberty's gentle wake from your spacious balcony. Ocean, grand and junior suites are similar to the general staterooms in decor and design, but do offer more space and luxurious amenities. Liberty is of Carnival's Conquest-class liners (Fincantieri Monfalcone-built), with sisterships Conquest, Freedom, Glory, Valor. In April 2017, Carnival Cruise Line announced the names of a cruise booking record-breaking couple from Florida - Bernard and Janice Caffary.

Here, and on tiers rising up from Deck 9, there are hundreds of chairs and at certain times of the day, it seems they're all filled up. This is the main area where you have to concern yourself with chair hogging or parties sitting in odd configurations (i.e., leaving a single seat open between them and the next group). Again, around the aft pool you'll find more lounge chairs and less people, making it a prime spot for hanging out in the sun. Kids sailing on the Carnival Liberty have their own age-appropriate areas. The Club O2 age group (ages 15-17) have the exclusive use of a lounge on the deck 5 Promenade.

Some elements of the spa are complimentary -- like the sauna and steam room, as well as showers -- while treatments come at a price. Treatments range from massages to facials to acupuncture; prices are slightly higher than a landside spa, with massages in the $75 to $190 range for 60-minute services. Discount packages combining services are available throughout the cruise, but you can also save by receiving multiple treatments if you book them in advance. I thought that the variety of entertainment on this ship was one of its strongest points, although the casino seemed to be the most popular evening entertainment onboard.
